On June 24, 2026, Stone Temple Pilots brought decades of rock history to the stage during their stop on The Rise of Rock World Tour alongside Godsmack. The legendary band delivered a performance that reminded everyone why their music continues to resonate with fans of all ages. The 2026 tour pairs Stone Temple Pilots with Godsmack and special guest Dorothy for a summer run across North America.
Frontman Jeff Gutt continues to make the role his own, delivering a confident performance with vocals that sounded powerful and polished throughout the set. Whether tackling classics like “Plush,” “Interstate Love Song,” and “Vasoline,” or bringing energy to heavier tracks, Gutt’s voice captured the spirit of the band’s catalog while adding his own personality.
Musically, the band was firing on all cylinders. Dean DeLeo‘s signature guitar work remained as sharp and melodic as ever, while Robert DeLeo‘s bass grooves and Eric Kretz‘s steady drumming created the unmistakable Stone Temple Pilots sound that fans have loved for more than three decades. Although only three original members remain in the band, they continue to honor the group’s legacy while keeping the music alive for a younger generation discovering these songs for the first time.
With eight studio albums released to date, Stone Temple Pilots have built one of the strongest catalogs in modern rock. Their live show is a celebration of that history, blending timeless hits with the musicianship and passion that have defined the band since the early 1990s.
If the Star Lake performance was any indication, Stone Temple Pilots are far from slowing down. They continue to deliver an entertaining, high-energy concert that satisfies longtime fans while introducing a new audience to one of rock’s most enduring bands.
Stone Temple Pilots are currently on tour with Godsmack, and if they’re coming to a city near you, don’t miss the opportunity to experience a band that continues to prove its music is as powerful today as it has ever been.
